DevNet Reseller Program?
A reseller program designed to provide
a convenient and cost effective means of integrating smc
technologies software solutions, web hosting and
ecommerce hosting solutions with a partner's value-added
product or service line. Resellers earns greater
discounts on smc technologies products and services at higher
purchasing volumes. Nearly all smc technologies
products and services apply to reseller discounts.
Does is cost
anything to join?
No, the smc DevNet Reseller program is absolutely FREE!
There are no up-front costs or fees of any kind, and your savings
start on your very first purchase once your application is
approved.
Who is it
for?
The smc DevNet Reseller program is
designed for web designers, web developers, web masters,
e-commerce solutions providers, internet service
providers and other companies that provide web related
products, services and solutions. To qualify for a
reseller account your company must provide one or more
of the services in the following categories. To
qualify, we must be able to verify a qualifying service from a

How does it work?
Using our online reseller account
system, create an account at any time 24 hours per
day. Upon the review of your application (
usually within 1 business day ) and approval you will immediately be able use
our 100% web based system to order software for your
account. In addition to placing orders, our reseller
system allows to view past orders, view reseller stats reports,
request product trials, request custom quotes and much more! The reseller system will
monitor and track the volume of purchases and
automatically apply any discounts based on partner's
pricing level in real-time as you make your purchases
for various products.
What type of support mechanisms are
in place after my purchase?
smc technologies provides a friendly,
knowledgeable support staff for any questions or
concerns that may arise. You may email smc
technologies support representatives at support@smctechnologies.com
or submit your support inquires online at www.smctechnologies.com/support
. Online documentation, manuals and support documents
are available 24 hours a day. smc technologies
support technicians are also available by phone from
9:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday - Friday EST.
How do I get the software once I
purchase my licenses?
All software licenses that qualify as a
downloadable product will be available to you immediately after each
purchase as a reseller, allowing you to place orders and install
software at your convenience 24 hours per day! Application
hosting products and web hosting products are activated instantly
after purchase. Certain software
packages must be installed by smc technologies support
technicians ( free of charge ), including smc WebMall,
smc StoreBuilder and smc SiteSearch. Other programs can be
delivered to you by email such as smc WebStore and smc WebStore
Express. All programs can be installed by
smc technologies representatives free of charge upon
request within 3-10 business days of purchase. Partners may also
pre-purchase licenses to take advantage of volume
discounts and have smc technologies staff install
licenses as needed.
What if I need special
modifications or changes made to the software?*
Contact specialist by email at smcdev@smctechnologies.com
or use the online form provided in the member area under
"quote request". An online quote will be
created for your review online. Upon confirmation and
payment for a custom quote, development generally will
take 2-4 weeks depending on the current schedule. Please note that
modification work to software is discounted at a flat
rate of 10%.
Can I call in my order?
You may place your order by email or
phone, but we
recommend using the online system for all of your
license purchases as all accounting and ordering is
automated. If you need modifications for
software or you have questions concerning a purchase,
please feel free to contact our offices by email or
phone.
Is there a limit to the amount of
licenses I can pre-purchase?
No, in fact the more licenses of
software you purchase at one time, the larger your
discount. See your pricing schedule for further
details.
